How much do swimming lessons cost in Mississauga?

Group swim schools in Mississauga put four to six swimmers with one instructor. Apex Swimmers charges $39.99 + HST for semi-private (two swimmers per instructor) and $64.99 + HST for private lessons. Per minute of instructor time on your swimmer, Apex is the lowest-priced of the schools in the table on this page, even with HST included.

What does a season cost at Apex?

The Fall Season (October 4 – November 30) is 8 weeks; you pick 1, 2 or 3 lessons per week. The minimum, 1 lesson per week (8 lessons), is $319.92 + HST semi-private ($361.51 with HST) or $519.92 + HST private. 2 lessons per week (16 lessons, one free) is $599.85 + HST semi-private or $974.85 + HST private; 3 per week (24 lessons, two free) is $879.78 + HST semi-private or $1,429.78 + HST private.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Pay once at checkout, or in 4 interest-free payments with Klarna (pay in 4). For 1 semi-private lesson per week that is 4 payments of $90.38, HST included, with the first payment at checkout and the rest every two weeks.

Are there registration fees?

No. No registration fees. No auto-renewal. The price per lesson is the whole price, plus HST.

Is there a discount for siblings or a second lesson?

Your first weekly time is full price. Every weekly time you add after that, a 2nd lesson per week for the same swimmer, or a sibling, partner or friend joining with their own time, gets its first lesson free. That is $45.19 off per extra time for semi-private, or $73.44 for private, HST included. Two swimmers at 2 lessons per week saves three lessons; three swimmers at 3 lessons per week saves eight ($361.51). Add-on times need 4 or more lessons.

What is the refund policy?

If you don't love your first lesson, tell us within 24 hours and we refund the whole season. Separately, you can cancel within 10 days of booking for a full refund, even before your first lesson. After that, life happens, and we understand, but because your weekly time is reserved for your swimmer all season, a lesson you miss or cancel can't be refunded or made up. If we ever have to cancel a lesson (no instructor available to cover, or the pool is closed), your season is extended by a week so you still get every lesson you paid for.
